You get a fully functioning WordPress website installed on your own domain (e.g. www.yoursite.com). This is an ‘off the shelf’ product, meaning that you choose your design theme and colour palette from a specific range and you choose one of 4 pricing levels. We install your chosen theme on your domain, and we add your text, images and logo (provided by you). What you are buying is a fully set-up website that you can then adapt and change in whatever way you like.

Yes indeed. We’ll guide you through this whole process. A domain costs around R100 for a .co.za domain or R200 for a .com domain. This is an annual fee paid to the domain registrar.

Yes, but only if that hosting company offers reliable WordPress hosting and you are on a hosting package that caters for this. Beware of budget hosting sites! Speak to us and we will advise you on this.

Your site needs to be kept on a host computer (server) so that it can be accessed by people looking for your services. The hosting cost is an ongoing cost paid monthly or annually in advance. If you choose hosting through us, we place your site with a recommended hosting company that we know offers top-class service. You are free to move your site to another host at any time. But beware of cheap hosting sites – you get what you pay for.

Because WordPress is the world’s fastest growing website creation platform. It works using themes (templates) that anyone can modify to create the look and functionality they need. The template system enables us to cut design time and costs, putting professional sites in the reach of small business owners and startups. WordPress is easy to use and you can update your site from anywhere in the world. You can also take your site with you if you choose to host it somewhere else. We are inspired by the freedom that WordPress gives us as designers and you as clients.

WordPress requires a little more from your hosting company than ordinary HTML sites do, so monthly hosting fees are often higher than for HTML sites. And there is a little more maintenance in that you have to update your WordPress installation every few months when a new release is issued (if you host with us on our managed hosting offer, this is all taken care of). But these considerations are far outweighed by the convenience and beauty of WordPress sites.

Yes. The themes on this site are just a small part of the work we do. We can easily modify a theme or give you a completely different theme. See our custom WordPress design page for examples, then speak to us to get a quote.

No problemo, we can change the theme – but there will be a customisation fee based on our hourly rate

Yes, you can do this yourself using the WordPress dashboard or you can ask us to do it for you at a small fee.

You are free to take your site to another host whenever you like. Your site is completely portable and there is absolutely no obligation to stay with the Rabbit. Our philosophy is to give you complete freedom and control of your site. However, please note that we have a hosting setup fee equal to your first 3 months hosting with us. So we will only refund you for the months you’ve paid after the initial 3 months. E.g. If you’ve paid for 6 months hosting and you want to leave after 2 months, we will only refund you for 3 months, not 4.

If you don’t have a logo, we can provide a plain text header with the name of your company or website. If you don’t have an image for the home page we will provide a default image. However, we advise that you source your own image as this will make your site more unique. We will advise you on where to find high-quality images for your site.
